Leslie Crystal (nee Leslie Crystal Luxembourg Sandoval) is an American artist and designer from Southern California.  Her artistry and creative ventures extend across multiple areas of the aesthetic, including fashion illustration, fashion design, costuming, and modeling.  She also portrays the identical twins Lara and Tara on the popular web series The Guild, written by and starring Felicia Day and distributed by Microsoft and Xbox Live. As an artist and designer, Leslie's creative works are most notable for being a celebration of girlhood and femininity, with females being the most frequent subject.  Select works from her 2010 Prestigious University painting series are in permanent exhibit with the Department of Gender & Ethnic Studies at the California State University, Fullerton.  Leslie has also extended her design and costuming to the world of cosplay, receiving a wide variety of coverage for her World of Warcraft Blood Elf Mage cosplay.  Leslie’s newest design venture is her signature fashion label of clothing, jewelry, and accessories, self-titled Leslie Crystal LUXE.  The label is intended to join the high-sewing and handmade movements of Etsy and BigCartel, featuring few-of-a-kind, handcrafted items.  As a model, Leslie is known for her markedly nymph-like appearance and unconventional, quasi-androgynous features.  Leslie was a part of the Coquette Chameleon modeling campaign for Garden Party Clothing by designer Eleonore Santos (S/S 2011) and the catalog face for Dressed Vintage (S 2011).  Leslie is also a member of the fitness-model group Figure Girls for the Karla Adams Fitness Corporation, competing at GNC NPC (General Nutrition Centers / National Physique Committee) fitness events. Leslie received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Bachelor of Arts in Art [General Studio] at the California State University of Fullerton. Currently, she is a masters candidate at the Academy of Art University for a Master of Fine Arts in Fashion Design.
